Hello There!
My name is Heather a.k.a Hay-Hay Crochet!
I am a 23-year-old crochet enthusiast who has been crocheting since I was about 12 years old. I’ve always admired the art of crochet and the way it looks since I was young. I was so enamored with it that I was determined to teach myself! After a lot of trial and error (and about a million YouTube tutorials later) I had it finally got the hang of it, and ever since then I’ve been “HOOKED” (pun intended).
Since I have started and to this day, I love using the gift of crochet to make presents for my family and friends, mostly consisting of amigurumi in the past, but since I have gotten older, I enjoy making more clothing pieces, accessories and home décor. (But still enjoy making the occasional plushie for one of my sweet little nieces.)
Over the last few years, I have been making a lot of my own patterns, which has been very fun and also very challenging, it is by no means an easy task, but I am having a great time doing it! I work hard to make patterns as size-inclusive and customizable as I can (hoping one day to be able to expand on more size options!)
Being able to share my ideas with others, and then seeing them recreate them in their own styles, colors, etc. is a surreal feeling! I love seeing all the items others have created using my patterns, it gives me so much joy. I’ve been blessed with such an amazing community on here, my YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok and for that, I’m so grateful for everyone’s kind words and encouragement!
